Hey gang!
February slipped through the wintery cracks between New Year’s hype & that part of the year where time starts to feel somewhat normal again, which for me, is usually right about now.
I feel like I need 2 months of any new year to really feel settled in: January is full of hype & hope, February the fairy-dust settles, and March feels like a long-awaited exhale.
Except this March has been filled with moving plans & logistics as we prepare to relocate to Fort Worth, TX for my husband Michael’s job. Howdy, y’all! 🤠
I also recently took on a new position for my own work, launched a new business venture with another local female fitness professional, started the process of closing down my in-person personal training practice, as well the process of saying goodbye to all my favorite running spots & coffee shops here in Charleston. 😥
But alas! Here we are! I’ve got lots to share & catch you up on.
Okay, on to the good stuff!
✨HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GRAM
messed up things women say that perpetuate bad body image

💫A SPECIAL REQUEST
This year, I would really like to grow my email list so I can take ownership of the community I’m creating rather than leave it in the fickle hands of the Instagram Gods! I would love it if you shared this email with a lady friend or 2 letting them know why you enjoy it & encouraging them to subscribe!
🥑FOOD THINGS I’M LOVING
firstly- overcoming this old food mindset that was, to reference Schitt’s Creek, “entirely unhelpful”
we’ve talked about how great fermented foods are for the gut, right? This is my *favorite* kimchi ever— an excellent fermented food to add to your diet!
I have this gut-healthy cookbook on pre-order
I made this lime-y bean salad for a snack a couple weeks ago and can’t wait to enjoy it on a porch in the sunshine this summer!
💪A New Business Venture
“We envision a world of women who grew up understanding that carbs are energy and protein is good for your overall health, not just for big muscles; a world where women feel comfortable in all areas of a gym, and the squat rack becomes a space we are expected to take up rather than a place men are surprised to see us.
We started Girls Gone Buff to introduce girls to lifting, healthy eating, body positivity & self-confidence at young age, because the world we envision is made up of women who have these skills.”
💗A FRIENDLY REMINDER

Thanks for being here 💕
